My 3ways just arrived. And I had to pay $83.00 in customs on them. That puts them up to a total cost of around CDN360.00
I don't even want to open them.
Fuck Crooked Tongues.

Well, it's actually $43 customs and $40 tax or something like that. I've sent CT a message explaining my unhappiness - so tempted to flame the board. Ruined a perfectly fine day.

Samo, Those are sweet as hell!
Love the missy too... I don;t know what the hell is going on with those brighties on the other page (And consider who is saying that, The KING of the Bright)
I hate to be the one who brings this up, again... but it isn't Crooked Tongues. Blame Canadian Customs. CT is just following canadian import rules when they actually put the actual value on the commercial invoice.

All CT had to do was change the value and write 'gift' on the customs form. Same thing basically every other online retailer I've bought from has done, all without me asking. So yeah, technically they did nothing wrong, but honestly that doesn't make me feel any better.
Even Flightclub did it when I bought my NBHDs from them (thank goodness)

Yeah it's a hard one, they could put a lower value on it, but then if something goes missing (I'm guessing) it probably means they can't claim what the items actually worth. Quite a few places have been refusing to lower the values on the customs labels recently, maybe been some sort of crackdown or something.
Good luck getting a response from CT Lorrie, never found them to be the best at replying.
