I've put laces in the washing machine and hand washed but they never get really clean. I only iron when there are folds in them so they are impossible to lace properly. For instance when you buy the og superstar laces which are 'nicely' laced on a cartboard supe.

What Rob said. Cleaning them is pain but fortunately we have bboylaces.com

^^What Rob said, I find it impossible to get them cleaned. I rather buy new ones if they're whites and I only iron if they've been in other shoes and the folds don't match the new pair.

My problem is that I need laces for *ahem* The sneaker brand whose name we do not speak... I need hard to find colors... so I have to make the ones that I DO have last as long as possible.
