UV lights and whatnot aside, id be inclined to say they're fake. How many pairs does the seller have, and also how many kermits and betty boops do they have? Smells like fakes to me!

Yeah mate they're fake.
The heel tabs and the height difference between the back of the shoes gives them away.
You might have better luck chasing a pair of SS2 IS (Insertable Stripes?) from 2007,
the article number is 012173 they are pretty much the same shoe with only minor differences.
