Oh, and now the other thing I was worried about, which turned out to be true:
All week the father in law has wanted us in for dinner as he wanted to make risotto. 'Make risotto?' i thought to myself. 'He doesn't know how to make risotto.' This isn't going to turn out well...
Yeah, Friday dinner: well done fish and stewed jasmine rice with mushrooms...and boiled carrots. Washed down with a Chardonnay and a discussion of my niece's dyslexia.

Don't think you need to worry about the seller Lorrie, I won another of his auctions and got the same story. I asked about postage to Denmark before the auction ended and he said he'd find out. Laptop story too and he said he'd find out Monday.
At least if he's lying he's using the same story...
I think he's legit though

Had the same thing myself DJ/Zwer and got the same story. Was getting a bit concerned myself after I won the 35th New Yorks. Says he's posting them Monday too, sure I'll be getting them Tuesday/Wednesday.

Clocked them 35ths on the bay, posted in the size 12 section when they were a uk 11.5. Pisses me right off that does.

When selling and after someone wins an auction, don't other bidders get '2nd chance offers'? Thats an option thats provided to the losing bidders, no? I've heard of these 'playing' tactics before but never been in one before, thankfully...

Yeah they do if the buyer doesn't pay or they have a duplicate item. Don't get the link with what Pokey wrote though or why you're quoting it.
