Do what you want. If i have been sold fakes i know nothing about them being fake. They sold me trainers as authentic items. Since you sell trainers yourself why would you want to buy from me. You report me to who you want. I will show them where i buy from & if they are fake then they can deal with them for miss leading me & many other innocent buyers. Also i will make sure the Police & trading standards Check out your supliers aswell to make sure your trainers are authentic. Anyway i dont need to sell on ebay anyway. Like it says in my listings i do not refund postage. i am happy to refund the cost of the item only. I might be up your neck of the woods maybe i will pay you i visit. We can talk face to face.

Wow, what an asshole. As far as him claiming innocence, what a bunch of B.S. If you traffic drugs without knowing, you still get in trouble. Same thing for this. It is the seller's responsibility to inspect their items, and if they are fake and the seller doesn't catch it, it is their responsibility and not the suppliers.

Not like it matters, because there is no doubt he knows they were fake. Definitely would consider reporting him for threatening you. Where does he live? If he lives in the U.K./States/Europe I'm sure you could submit a report and authorities would pursue it.

What I dont get is the amount of people who buy stuff then leave them excellent feedback "excellent trainers" etc.
Do you think they know they are fake but happy enough as they buy at a cheap price...or can they genuinely not tell they are Jekylls?

Oh my goodness - that seller sounds like a total fool!
Defo report them for threatening behaviour like Streak said - that's totally not on - and they're chatting bollocks there too...

RE: MY FIRST FAKE PURCHASE - Minty - 25-04-08

I looked him up...why didn't you leave him negative feedback?

RE: MY FIRST FAKE PURCHASE - ChOmChOm - 26-04-08

even though negative feedback is really the only thing that ebay buyers can do, fake sellers will just make new ebay accounts which wipes that negative feedback off

:/

RE: MY FIRST FAKE PURCHASE - Minty - 26-04-08

Yes, but still it may prevent others from buying.

I don't know if I am allowed to say this here, but if not, mods can just remove my post. What some people, me included, did when dealing with assholes like that is to open up a new Ebay account and purchase all of his Buy it Now items. This way, he actually looses quite a bit of money in listing fee and potential buys.

Also, I know some shady sellers, this one included, when they know their item is not gonna sell, ie. have 1 hour left and no one is bidding, they use their other acocunt or get their friends in the same business to buy their product (no payment), and leave each other positive feedbacks to boost their rating.

I have seen some pretty shady business practices. Your best bet is to file a claim with Paypal and get your FULL money back.
