I almost picked up a pair of these on eBay last night but decided to hold off. I've never owned any skates so I'm curious how they'd compare to regular Soups.

I love the design and colors though. I have a pair of pretty old Diva(Pink)/White Ultrastars that are one of my favorite pairs in my entire collection. It's rare to find pink Soups in size 12/11.5 so I have to jump on them when I have a chance.

I got some off the bay and (after a bit of discussion Laughing) decided they're (probably) real.


To be on the safe side, rareadidas.com have some (although they cost more, you know for sure they are 100% genuine)

Would they be harder to fake, what with all the extra stuff on them, sizing, heel support thingy, more stitching, etc? I would have thought there isn't the exclusiveness on the SS Skates.

I got a pair of the Brown Suedes from Rettro-Kicks on E-bay and they were fine, the same seller also had some Gum Shells if you fancy taking a chance Embarassed

I wouldn't believe they were faked, but then again, you never know. They have quite a few pairs on the bay *wondering*... What does one look for when spotting fake skates??

So, I won an auction for a pair of those skates. Asked for pics, but the sellers says it isn't possible to take them. Now what do I do? On one hand I don't think they'd bother faking those, but on the other hand, why would he then refuse taking pics, and, there were only 1000 pairs of those, right?

If it was from rettro kicks then they have a full return policy. I emailed them when I first got mine and they said they'd offer a full refund. All you've got to lose is shipping costs.
