Quote:EDIT: Sorry Cmanc but buying to sell on for a profit when we know someone one on here, who really wanted them, could have got em is a tad distressing
I see your point but being naive I thought it was the way of the World (hence Ebay, auction houses etc). I bought them for £30. If they had fit it might have been different but as they don't fit, storing and selling is my only option.

Well it is the way of the world its just not most of us do things on here

I don't normally splash the cash but my wonderful wife has given the green light for the 3 Ways, I'm a very lucky fella

Dude, don't be an idiot. Ever heard of TRYING on a pair of shoes? It's pretty neat, next time you're in a store you should ask about it--I'm sure the associate will be more than happy to assist you.
Quote:2. I only wear supes, seriously. I don't have a single pair of other trainers and haven't had for some time.
Then why did you buy non-supes?
If you aren't looking to be flamed, then I suggest not blatantly lying and looking like a damn clown...that may help
On another note, great pickups to everyone with the 3-Ways, they are sweet looking!

You're gonna learn how things work in here Cyber - one way or the other...esp from the regs and the quick to learn...wear em like you want to - stock pilin won't do here - and move em to help a member out and/or if the interest has been lost. Hell, I was givin away close to a dozen pairs for free, and managed to happily move most of em for a greater cause...

With you Andy. It was my wife who green lighted my last 3 way purchase (though I knew exactly how to convince her)
Cyber it's like this. Try them on. If they fit and you want them, buy them. Otherwise leave them and hope that it's another collector who will grab them. Buying off sizes in the hope they might fit but if they don't you can profit is not on. I've left CDN25 kicks I know would go double solely based on exchange rates and offered them up at retail. It's the only way to go.

Yeah, that was kinda my bad but I NEVER try Supes on as I know I'm a size ll. If the box says 11 and the tongues say 11 I just get them coz they always fit...... except this time

They looked pretty neat and I love the films so for £30 I was prepared to get them as beaters or stick them in my cinema room with my other film collectables (I'm a movie geek too).
As an aside, they had 5 more pairs left ranging from size 8s to 10s and they are at the Dalton Park near Sunderland if anyone wants to try the last few pairs out.
