Just got back from the Villa Birmingham game. That was mental. Not the result I wanted but the trouble was nothing compared to what it would of been had we won

Late on this one but yeah, El Clasico!!!! What a match.
I'm a big fan of Barcelona FC, They've been good this season but not quite as good as last, while Real have been firing of late.
I expected Barca to win but thought they were in store for a much tougher test. Barca were awesome!!!
All I can say is the same thing I said after they took the Champions league final from Man U - Messi, Xavi, Iniesta.

Question for you EPL locals.... After watching the boring Chelsa/Everton match, I wondered... Can someone show up on the day of a Chelsea home match and buy a ticket to watch the match? Or are they typically sold out way ahead of time? Just curious.

I would very much doubt you could buy a ticket on the day for Chelsea, there may be a few premiership teams that don't sell out in advance but Chelsea, ManU, Arsenal, Spurs etc would almost certainly be sell outs.

Obviously you can always turn up and pay 60 notes for a £20 restricted view ticket from a local tout/scalper.

Try craigslist mate, if your lucky you can strike a nice find. I've picked up a few face value tickets when i've taken my boy to see Arsenal in the past.
Last ones we got were 6 rows from the front right by the half way line. cost us about £40 each.

Edit, just realised this isn't the football thread, sorry, Dregz started it.......
Oops, i didn't realise that it wasn't the footy thread either.
I reckon a year and a half ago if you put a bet on them to be the 3 finalists then maybe the odds would would have been alright, what with everyone expecting it to be a 2 horse race between Messi and Ronaldo. Xavi is a genius, he gets overlooked cos of the others. It's a hard bunch to choose from and as much as I like Messi it would be good to see one of the others win it.
