They look very cool, sk8, well done by your mate! I would probably have done them without the pattern myself (and all suede) but it's all a matter of taste!

Btw, is that 'university red' used on those? it looks almost burgundy on that pic.

My sis was in Berlin recently so I got her to order a pair for me, and they got delivered today, so I'm well happy!!!
