I know all these different sizes but a girl has got to have options.

5.5, or am I...?

Well I went and tried on my first ever pair of Superstars in JJB today to see what size I came out as.
First off I couldn't see any women's superstars so I tried on a pair of Stan Smiths in a 6. I then noticed some superstars in the kid's area and my ultimate goal was to see if I could fit into kid's ones because then I'd be able to buy twice as many
She went and got some boys size 5.5 and they were a good fit, better than the Stan Smiths. So my first question is, do Superstars fit a bit small because they're more rigid and fitted, thus not allowing your foot to move about so much?

When I got home I decided to look at size conversions for the US and that's when I noticed US women's and US men's are different to each other, and also translate into a different size for Uk women's. And THEN I noticed there were Uk womens and Uk mens.
So my *second* questions are, did the boys 5.5 superstars only fit me because they were men size and actually were the same size as a womens size 6? In people's experiences are Uk sizes for men and woman different?

I really need to find this out before I go and buy a pair online because I don't want to suffer from either long trainers or sore toes

Im some what confused with all this sizing It made me abit angry? But anyways, you normally have to buy superstars that are at least a half size, preferably a whole size bigger than your normal size, I think its because the shell is rounded at the end so ur foot will not reach the end, Well I always have to but a size bigger anyway.

And im not too sure about what second question was

I am a size 10 in soops normally. They do come up small as I am a 9 in everything else. However I just tried on my Foot patrols which arrived today and the seem to be a half size bigger even though they are size 10.

^^^vins fit the biggest of the 3 models and FPs the biggest of the vins I've tried.
