Simple and clean Vern, just as it was intended! Love my pair too. They are really nice Tifoso, especially in your photo. I've been eyeing them for a while now but I thought some of the other stuff he had looked dodgy. I pulled the trigger the other day though and ordered them plus a pair with grey stripes as well. After being sure my pair was sorted

, I tipped off Nikos (remebering his two-year search) only to find out he ordered the week before. And Rob, you have to fight the good fight with customs like the rest of us

Saw Tifs update, read Niko's post and off to eBay I was to buy myself a pair of the '98's

.
Very nice pick ups, fellas!!

@Niko: too late, they have been ordered. If they are too big they will go back on the bay. But I just had to have them, been looking for them for two years now
@Bonovox: I know but Tif hooked me up with a pair of '07 OG's about a month ago and no customs were paid

Long as the seller marks them up as a gift with a value no higher than $30 you'll get away with it Rob

I don't know the exact value but usually I don't get any fees when I'm under $100. What pisses me off is that they seem to include shipping in the value.

What I love is that HMRC make it really difficult to find out what the threshold is! I looked into it recently and I am fairly sure that they have lowered the threshold so that you are more likely to be taxed (can't be sure exactly). I just know that after looking into it I went for the $25 mark, I think it used to be about £18 but is now more like £15, I believe gifts and school books are exempt though.

Seems our massive buying spree has made the guy raise the price on those 98's.

It's the thought that counts, but it's also nice to find some presents under the christmas tree that you really like, so I bought these for myself. A big thank you to Tif for helping me out
