yes, they are chunkier so to speak. the "slope" on the toe is more abrupt if that makes sense.

Nice one olskool! I have a pair as well. Sadly though, mine started flaking immediately on first wear...

i had to do some scrubbing on the white stripes and the tongue and got some flaking as well.
