RE: My graff thread - Superstarr - 10-03-10

Thats real nice SS! Wish I could do that, hard when you have no money or talent..Laughing

RE: My graff thread - Shellshock - 10-03-10

That piece above didn't really cost anything as I was just using up dregs (no pun intended) from half used cans. If I'd had to buy all the paint it would probably cost about £45-£50 at retail price, each can being arond £3 each. That's a fairly small piece, 6ft by about 15ft. Proper productions on big walls costs hundreds.

Someone told me about this huge warehouse place near leeds ya good paintcan really cheap. This guy infact his work is shit hot. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=32524061&albumId=12309

But I dont know much about this subject it all gets a bit majic eye sometimes.

RE: My graff thread - mr.pure - 11-03-10

Likin' it Shellshock.
Need to get my can on again.

RE: My graff thread - nikosg - 11-03-10

got any pics of ur work P? in any threads here?

RE: My graff thread - mr.pure - 12-03-10

Nothing recent.
When I was "up", coloured paint was harder to come by and we mostly did "Chromos" or dubs as they're called nowadays.
Legal walls were few and far between so we largely did illegal walls and tracksides.
Police kept most of my pictures unfortunately when I was arrested,

Word is bond homeboy. These nowadays writers don't know shit about getting up properly. The can does most of the work for you with these new graff specific paints, it's almost cheating! Until you've tried putting an outline up in Hammerite in the dark in winter, you don't even know about graff. Wink
