The paint shouldn't come off any of my shoes
. But as you say, these Pro Mods were made to wear daily. So that, the shoes that were synthetic uppers get a rest. Remember the 90s patents and peach soles, they are all synthetic and angelus leather paint will come away (like the factory paint does) where they crease and wrinkle. These are dyed nubuck and painted stripes. The nubuck provides the strongest key for the paint.
I should mention that you can paint synthetics, but with a different paint to that used by most customisers.
Always learning... So if I don't get it right, I'll put it right.
