Not sure what you mean by scales, but the "snake skin" is sort of structured if you know what I mean. Very nice pair of supes in a fantastic cw! Nice insoles to with snakes.
They're quite expensive, but if you sign up on adidas shop online you get 15% off on the first order. Which I've done twice now
