Yeah, a cut price pair of 80's and a Sharpie. Hey Presto! A pair of Eldridges.

According to the official site they have all the things the MK1 & 2 skates had in (apart from heel absorber thingy) but they're still far too 80's for me.
Hope this isn't a sign of things to come with the SS Skates.
fc loves a skate

They just don't look "fat" enough to have all the padding skates usually have. I love skates but I'm with fc, hopefully this isn't where adidas is going with skates from now on.

It's not even the padding as it is the durability of the skates of the past. No reinforced stitching, no recessed laces, they look like you might as well rock any old pair of kicks.

Exactly, that goes with my earlier post about the missing skate details.. I think they're trying to make us believe anything at adidas. The Eldridges simply don't have what makes a pair of skates, no matter what is said about them on the official site.
C'mon! Supes can't be supe skates without actually having a single bit from the skate models. Unless that's adidas' new ideology of skates - just put a skateboarding badge on the tongue and that's it.

Or giving Pete Eldridge a shit load of cash to put his name on some sub-standard (possibly) soops!
I want Gonz back!

did Eldridge wear a pair of 80`s whilst riding his board. that could be a reason....

I think they are crap. Whoever cooked those up was obviously very very lazy.
