Hi Everyone.

Thought i'd introduce myself by asking the question "Leather Or Rubber?"

Don't worry, i'm talking about the shell toe.

Personally, I prefer the Superstars with the leather toe, although there don't seem to be many around at the moment. I love my all white ones the most.

It would be interesting to see what everyone else prefers, although you've probably covered this topic somewhere!

About me: I love adidas trainers, not just superstars, and I have a great selection. My favorite trainers at the moment are my Wilhem Bungerts.

Interesting intro

I can only say rubber, because it is the only type I own. Personally, I like how it looks better, but I would like to get a pair of choco brown leather toes for a more formal night out.

Definately rubber for me.. The 3 pairs of leather toed supes I own get scuffed too easily!

Welcome randnet1, rubber for sure it's the only true shelltoe,
the leather luxs are nice but the history and style lies in the rubber toe.
