They were on US ebay for months at around $70 and I thought the stripes were black so I didn't want them. Eventually I asked the seller and he said they were green and around the same time he lowered the starting bid to $10 which I got them for Also got a pair of 94' red on black pro mods with crumbling stripes from the same seller for the same price. I'm currently trying to repaint the stripes and I've painted the tongue of these greens as well. Small price to pay for some "vintage" quality

I would go against the grain and say black. The cotton just seems to blend in where the black pops. Amazing pair of supes you have there.

Of the two, I'd go for the raw cotton ones, but how about a matching green or brown?

They both look good to me. Black's a bit "angrier" and white smoother.
