With the arrival of my new PE t-shirt representing one of my all time favourite albums, i thought i might share my five most favoured with y'all.
In no particular order:-
PE - It takes a nation of millions to hold us back.
Gangstarr - Step in the arena.
Massive Attack - Blue Lines
The Stone Roses -The Stone Roses
Ultra Magnetics - Critical beatdown
Special metions to Eric B & Rakim, i cant believe they have not made it into the top 5.
The interesting bit is i have Dj'd for 20 odd years and none of the genres has much to do with what i mix.
Your thoughts?

Five favorite albums... tough choice.
These are the first ones that spring to mind, in no particular order either:
Run DMC: Raising Hell
Tommy Boy Greatest Beats compilation (1985)
Dj Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince: He's the Dj, I'm the Rapper
Still the Joint: Sugarhill remixed
Poison Clan: 2 Low Life Muthas
Ask me again tomorrow and it will probably be different...LOL...
– also, some of these are compilations, I'm not sure if that qualifies
Superstars are indeed super...

Notorious BIG - Juicy
RHCP - Californication
RHCP - By the way
Oasis - What's the story (Morning glory)
Jay-z - Reasonable doubt
I'm generally pretty eclectic as also love a bit of Otis Redding, and have Classical FM on preset in the car
If you have £5 and Chuck Norris has £5, Chuck Norris has more money than you.

Such a difficult question but like yours LL my top 5 would definitely contain both Critical Beatdown and Blue Lines. Probably round it out with something like
Tribe Called Quest-Low End Theory
GZA-Liquid Swords
Bob Marley-Catch A Fire
Even as I'm writing this it's already changed....

PE: Nation of Millions
Beastie Boys: Paul's Boutique
Soundgarden: Badmotorfinger
Metallica: Justice For All
Tool: Aenima
Only the first two are locks.

This 5 is a tough one, it would be easier to name artists rather than LPs.
Who have to include:
Stevie Wonder
Minnie Ripperton/ Rotary Connection
Ernest Ranglin
Bob Marley
Al Green
Leroy Hutson
Marvin Gaye
Rufus/ Chaka Khan
4Hero
JAMES BROWN and JB family!
All the Native Tongues...
... No this is impossible!

Such a tough one, but for starters
Massive Attack - Blue Lines
Herbaliser - Same As It Ever Was
Run DMC - Raising Hell
Stone Roses - Stone Roses
Pet Shop Boys - Very (guilty pleasure!)
Doesn't even begin to touch numerous hip hop, Brit pop and many many more

Saw this thread the other day and couldn't possibly post with out plenty time to think about it and I'm still struggling.
To pick 5 from the thousands of pieces of vinyl I have is too hard. I reckon I could narrow it down to a top 30 - 40 albums and from that pot my top 5 would vary on any given day.
definite candidates include:
BDP - By All Means Necessary
Ice Cube - AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
Digable Planets - Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space)
Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life
Michael Jackson - Off The Wall
The Pharcyde - Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde
Bob Marley - Uprising
Ice T - Power
Run DMC - Raising Hell
Like shellshock said I've changed some of these already.
Would you be good enough to participate in this morning's edification?
