Hows it going folks,
Just joined and thought i would intoduce myself. Its only been this past year or two ive really started to collect adidas trainers and anything adidas, got around 16 pairs of treads various types such as grand slams sl72 etc which i have gotten from various places around across the seas got a nice pair from harputs.
Anyway just recently re discovered how cool the superstars are after i got this cool adidas originals Ghetto Blaster not long ago with some Run DMC tapes which reminded me off the superstars and brings back fond memorys of being a young loon.... bought 4 pairs of superstars in this past few weeks, got some serious shell addiction now!!!! Really interested in the 35th anniversary and the NBA ones. Look forward to collecting loads more superstars.
So thats a heads up on my self.
Cheers
J

Welcome to the boards J. Take a look at the member's collections part of the forum, you'll see plenty of examples of very nice non-35th and non-NBA shells like streak mentioned.

Welcome on board J, nice intro.
I have to agree with Streak, although the 35th's are a goal of mine as well, I have found so many more Supes that I would rather be wearing since I joined SSDB.
Good luck in your quest, hope the pockets are deep.

Cheers Guys thanks for the welcome.
I did notice an abundance of fakes on eBay some of them are very laughable as they say they have 99 in stock in every size, bearing in mind that the original trainer was released back in 2005 with a limited quantity of 300 or so.
Plus some of them look terrible. I do have a pair of project playgrounds which are a bit suspicious now that i think about it and have read some of the guides.
