Canuck here ...
#1

Hey all,

So I'm 24, I'm British born, Canadian raised. Currently live near Toronto. I don't really as of yet collect shoes, but I only wear superstars, since my first pair lasted me a happy 4 years.

I paint / stencil as a hobby, and look forward to being a part of this community.

As a side note, I recently started a thread to determine what my old supes were. I did that before introducing myself, it was an honest mistake and I apologize. However I think it's kind of silly to close my thread due to this, as at some point I'm going to try to get my answer again right? Do you really need duplicate threads?

But whatever, I didn't read the front page thoroughly so it's my bad.

Hey Jimmy, welcome along. I guess you only rock one pair for a very long time and then get another?

There are a few of us on the SSDB from the GTA.

I'd really appreciate that, I was just so excited to find a forum like this I got ahead of myself.

Yeah, so originally I bought one pair, and rocked em for a while. I found my first pair at the adidas outlet store, and it was the first pair I tried on. Before that I was big into workboots. So when a hole formed in my sole, I went out looking at a lot of different shoes, and I realized nothing really compared to my Adi's.

So shortly after buying a new pair I was fired, and I decided to take a few months off at that point. So I've been very frugal the last while. I do plan on buying more pairs (and treating them right Smile ) but only after I find a job.

I got a couple newb questions,
- what's the difference between Superstar1 & 2's?
- when you lace like the guide on MrShoeShotta.com says (http://www.mrshoeshotta.com/lacing.html), what do you do with the ends? Just tuck em in yer shoe?

Cheers,
Jimmy Friday

I'm from Mississauga. Just out of curiousity, where do you go to look for shoes in the gta?

well, normally it's the original store on Queen, along with Live Stock and Goodfoot. When I've got access to a car it's out to the outlets at Vaughan Mills and Brampton.

Been pretty slim pickings locally for a while so I've had to rely on flightclub a bit more than I'd like.

Oh cool thanks, I only really go into Toronto for paint, but I guess I'll have to stop in a few more shops now.

Thanks all for the welcomes,
Jimmy
