26 gallons for $90!!
Here in Los Angeles, Gas prices are at the higher end of the US spectrum, not the highest, but close to the top.
My Accord gets a blended 24.4 miles per gallon, 16 gallon tank and it runs me about $75 to fill up these days (about 15.5 gallons of 89 octane fuel)
I plan to get a new car at the beginning of the year, I'm looking at the Inifinity M35 sport, Infinity G35, Nissan Z, Nissan Maxima 3.5s or.... Toyota Prius.
I think we drive a bit more here in the states than europeans do. The population is less dense and quite frankly, public transportation isn't as well developed or accepted except in a few metro areas.
That being said, I've owned my Accord for 5 years and I have over 120k miles on it. I'd have probably 160k except when I got promoted 2 1/2 years ago and my son quit hockey.. my daily driving went down substantially.
To reply to Pure's comment... I have no idea why many americans insist on having a car with a monster under the hood. I'm not one of them. I just want something that's comfortable and gets good mileage.

I agree. I only picked up the truck because I knew i would need one for the line of work im getting into. If there was a cheap hybrid engine alternative that could give me the same power I needed I would have been all over it. Im even considering buying another Honda for my daily commute and only using the truck when I need it.
