RE: Rob's shells
Thanks all! I do like the vins, mainly because of the looks. When it comes to comfort I prefer Superstar 2's.

RE: Rob's shells
Very nice Rob. I've been contemplating what type of shelving to get for my spare room in the house, but i think you may have solved that one for me. Looking very good. Look like you put some time into doing those stripes mate!

It's never what it is....it's what it can be made to look like!

RE: Rob's shells
Those stripes were a nightmare. I was planning to do them on all shelves. But I had to cut them by hand with a 30 year old scissor. It took me an entire evening just to do those two.

RE: Rob's shells
Were they dress making scissors, Rob? I think my mother still has some of them, I may now go and steal them so I can make original stripes. Razz

RE: Rob's shells
I think so fc. I stole 'em from my mother in law Wink It was allmost impossible to get one side the same as the other. I may try and cut a trefoil too, I am done with the stripes.

RE: Rob's shells
Great collection and shelves too. I wish I'd have enough space for some shelves or sumthing.
Cutting those stripes must have been a pain but it was definitely worth it!

That's it Sab Smile

But the one I was using was made like 150 years ago or something. It took a lot of strength to cut.

Now don't go and steel my ideas!!!! Wink I wonder how Lurky made his stripes on those cool aluminium shoeboxes.
