Quick ZX question
As all I have are superstars atm, I really need a shoe for training in. Skipping in superstars/pro shells has started to shred my little toes and I need something with more cushioning badly.
I know ZXs are originally running shoes and lord knows I love some of the suedey goodness on them but how practical are they for exercising in on a regular basis (compared to, say, a pair of Asics).

RE: Quick ZX question
If you're planning on doing any running or proper cardio work that isn't on a bike then it's time to get yourself to a proper running store and get sorted with shoes that are right for your feet.
don't mind the brand - go with what feels best. believe me, nothing is worse than doing cardio in the wrong pair of kicks and subsequently fking up your feet.

RE: Quick ZX question
What about them adidas goodyear trainers, they should be good. Or those adi racer ones, they must be called racers for a reason
And what kicks are good for cycling zwer?
I'm an optimist, but I don't think it helps.

RE: Quick ZX question
well, if you're riding a stationary bike at the gym it doesn't matter much what you wear, does it, fella?

RE: Quick ZX question
Cheers for that Zwer - much appreciated. Saved me a pretty penny
jam - unless you get clipless (weird naming because they clip in) shoes don't matter too much for cycling I've found as long as they fit well. If your into jumping some slightly wider ones with extra space for extra pedal grip are nice, if your racing then smaller, tighter fitting ones I guess. From what I've seen, goodyears are just casual trainers, not designed to be particularly sporty

RE: Quick ZX question
The 'Goodyear' is just a fashion shoe, and as Zwer said wouldnt really recommend ZX's for training either. There are quite a good few training shoes 'Response' are good entry levels or if your feeling flush the 'adistars' are the top enders retail at £95 i think, 'Microbounces' are a good looking shoe as well.
If your down London way then I'm pretty sure mi adidas (the running equivalent of mi orignals) is based in Harrods.
