Ian Browns?!?! -

OK I recently purchased a pair of Ian Brown superstars on ebay from a decent seller who was absolutely sure the trainers were 100% authentic. However when they arrived I was less than pleased with them. A couple of details I have noticed are:
1. The IB double eyelet plaque is PLASTIC!!!! This should be metal with a stamped trefoil logo on the back of it. It should also have 3 black stripes on the front, this one has neither. It looks cheap and tacky.
2. The trainers do not come with the correct laces. The should come with a red pair, a green pair, a brown pair and a red and gold checked pair. They should also all have the gold (metal) IB endings on them, the red pair with these does not.
3. The leather is shockingly green, now I realize that the authentic black leather used as a green tint but these are really very green. And the quality of glueing is not to be desired.
This is copied from the email I have sent him, does this seem reasonable grounds for fakes??? I will post pics when my digi cam batteries have charged..
Any comments welcome, cheers

Definately sound like fakes
Be good to see some pics 1st though before we pass judgement & can you put up the link to the ebay auction aswell for us all to see - if he has stated they're 100% authentic & they're not, then you have every right to demand your money back.
As you rightly say, the lace tags should be metal & have the trefoil stamped on the back... it doesn't sound good to me unfortunately

Ok guys here are some pics of them. I emailed the seller and he said he was having trouble with his supplier and that the original sample product he was shown was genuine. He has given me a full refund already as soon as I queried the authenticity of them, so I said I will return the trainers asap.

I messaged him telling him to use genuine pics in his auctions, and he went CRAZY!
Sputing shit about how all his shit is 100% genuine etc..
I was like, "dude, why are you lying?"
