Had a couple of different blackberrys for work. Had to 'adjust' company policy to get them to give me an iPhone. I'm in advertisingand the iPhone is waaay better for me than the blackberry even if the calendar sync with office's Entourage isn't always 100%. overall it's been amazing but you have to get used to the little Apple quirks.

My wife has an iPhone and I have a bb. One or two of my immediate colleagues have and iP as well so I know how they compare to my bb. The one advantage I see with my blackberry is that email always pushes. Email arrives almost instantly. Other than that the iPhone rules. Browsing networks and the internet is much easier. The interface is better, the apps amazing. Did I say the interface is amazing.
Oh but how is it as a phone? Could be way better. It's very easy to accidently call someone (your last call especially). I expect the newer versions will improve on this. You know, making the phone a good phone. To me, at the very least, if I'm using a device as my primary phone it should damn well function like a phone first.
Now back to my bb. When the battery dies, it dies a sudden death. And the first thing to go is telephone usage. Sure I can surf the internet for 15 minutes, check email, look at pictures. But I can't call back my dropped call just to say my battery just died I'll call you back later. That's lame.
So in summary within 4 words, , Go with the iPhone.

Ive got the HTC HD2 its much better than the iphone but lacks in terms of apps
im waiting for the sony xperia x10 to drop and will pick that up

Well, with P gone Streak is giving us a bit more latitude to make a mess of the SSDB.

Housemate got a free Googlephone at TED last month and he's a fan. He must like it because he hasn't lost it yet.

I'll have a clear up before he gets back so be prepared to lose some posts people...
