RE: New Customs by Sneakerphile!
Can you do me some neighborhoods?
I bet he could, but they'd cost you £600 instead of £60

By the way, £60 sounds like a steal for customs like that considering the number of hours put into it.
Superstars are indeed super...

Well, i'm not a totally greedy bastard unlike some some people. I figure I charge a fair price to cover time and materials (the paints ain't cheap!)
As for Neighbourhoods, you don't need me to draw 5 lines on the back of a shoe in white. A monkey could do that (granted, it wouldn't be as good as mine!)

RE: New Customs by Sneakerphile!
Nice dude..
can you make them less shiney? is that to do with the lacquer?
The top coat I used on these was a matte finish. It still comes up with a bit of a shine. Not as bad as it looks, just the flash makes them shine up more. The vinyl top coat would make them look almost patent if i'd used that.

I was thinking they would look fresh in pink.
How are they in regards to durability? does the paint flake or crak with wear? will it was off?

The paint I use is designed for leather and the top coat waterproofs them. I use an airbrush, so the paint goes on in very fine layers, therefor it bends with the leather and should not crack (so long as you take care of the obviously!)

RE: New Customs by Sneakerphile!
Ok, thats put my mind at ease, i know some places that do customs, but you cant wear them, they're just for display, which aint no fun!
I think id like a pair of customs, but i need to get a job 1st, but i think il need a pink/red pair in a similar style to those blue ones
I'l be in contact when im sorted on the job front
