RE: "Look the postie dun brung me some supes.." (part 3)
Fed-ex per chance??
FedEx!!
I got a letter through my door from them about a week after they delivered my kicks. With a £15 customs charge on a pair of supes that cost me..30 in total.
I knew something was going to happen, though - they arrived from USA within 2days! Which just ain't right as it usually takes a 5-8 working days.
People be extra wary if a seller is dispatching via FedEx, they will fuck you.
People... Listen to me.
JUST DON'T PAY IT!!
The bill you recieve is the customs duties/taxes/VAT that your country charges for importing a commercially sold product. FedEx has already paid your country's customs department for the charge and are seeking to RECOVER that money from you because the shipper has instructed them to do so.
If you do not pay it, FedEx has NO recourse with you and will revert the charges back to the shipper after 90 days!
How do I know this?
I am a Corporate Sales Professional for FedEx WorldWide Services. It's my business to know.

Lucky bugger Streak. Those are some bloody nice ones, although they look a little worn to me.. (maybe just the camera)
My postage woes end up with parcelforce holding my kicks hostage until I pay usually I wish I could get Fed-ex

They're awesome Streak.
I wish the pattern on modern shells were toned down like on those.
Apologies for any double posts - it's not my fault - my phone sends the post out twice for some reason.
