RE: Laces from www.thalaceplace.com
just a quick question about the laceplaces laces... i just recently was shoppin in melbourne, went into a sneaker store and they were sellin fat laces (brand *deuce*)..anyway i bought a couple pairs for three dollars each, but when i lace up my shoes and tighten them, they go so THIN!... they are so stretchy, is this the same for most fats out there or are these just shit quality? they dont stay 20mm wide when i put a little bit of tension in them. is this always the case? x

With some laces yes.
But not all.
The lace place laces seem to do this as well, if you tighten 'em.

Hi barclay,

Click on the link at the very top of this thread to sign up for the discount. If you are planning on ordering super fats then I would advise waiting as we are replacing our range with much better quality laces - thanks Jam for the constructive criticism Wink. The 15mm wide are still the same excellent quality as before.

Many thanks

RE: Laces from www.thalaceplace.com
Hi All,

Don't get too excited about the new range, we've decided to stock the Tobby XL laces. If you like their laces you'll be happy because we'll be stocking all colours eventually. These will eventually replace our inferior (was that the word Jam?) Super Fats but will initially list as Mega Fat. Would appreciate any feedback you have on them and of course our usual 25% discount still applies to SSDB members. Steve-o is shooting them for us shortly and then they'll go up on the site.

Thanks

Dave

RE: Laces from www.thalaceplace.com
Hi All,

The Mega Fats are slowly arriving and we are planning to stock a lot of colours/designs eventually. So you can see the available range ahead of them arriving on the site and before the official photos make it up, I have copied the full Tobby colour listing and translated the names of the colours we have in stock to those that we will use. You can find the colours, together with an indicator of whether we have them yet or not, here:

Mega Fat Colours

The laces are 120cm long and 23mm wide. If you would like a specific colour please PM me or e-mail us and I will prioritise stocking the most popular. If you want any that we have in stock, we can take payment via PayPal if you e-mail us, and they'll be available to buy through the site once the photos are ready.

All the best Smile

Dave
