I thought they were subtle.
You'd never see them when you're wearing them.
I'm still fucking gutted that he ain't on there !

RE: Consortium - Force Pack
I´m with Pure with that. Black & gold trefoil´s you can find on all the other soups too... so why no vader and yoda on them?! Confused

wack lacing is killing your shoes.

not to worry, they still match your Darth underoos just fine, mr P.

now, we know the best way to make these shoes make more of a statement: TIE fighter and X-Wing lace jewelry...

RE: Consortium - Force Pack
I think the reason they don't have Darth Vader or Yoda on the tongues of the production versions is because Adidas didn't want to pay LucasArts for the copyrights to the characters. Nowhere on the packaging or on the shoe does it say Star Wars. I'm actually quite surprised LucasArts didn't sue for using Star Wars likeness to promote the product, and at the very same time I'm glad that they haven't. But I really feel like Adidas cheaped out on these. Being a Star Wars fan, I was expecting a lot more, especially in terms of quality, like some lace jewelery, extra laces, fatter laces, being an officially licensed Star Wars product, something extra or different. Maybe the Adicolor packs spoiled me.

Didn't Mr Lucas try and sue the US Government back in the 1980's over the use of the name of the "Star Wars" missile defence program?

The insole has Super Star in the font of the title from Star Wars, I believe on PYS they are 'Superstar 1 Force-Consortium Edition - Superstar Starwars Yoda Edition (chalk / white / gold)' but I like the Soop Yoda or Vader, doesnt take all week to say it!!!! They are called the force pack in light and dark.
There shouldn't have been a problem with the shell toe chinned Vader cos he never had a shelltoed chin !
Still disappointed, and will be in a years time too !

RE: Consortium - Force Pack
Disappointed? Have you looked down at your feet when you've got them on?

They are seriously fly kicks. Yodas over the darths, but both seriously cool. When you think of all the hype and all the fkng waiting, we're lucky they turned out as impressive as they did. I can't complain about either except for the laces and that is still a minor quibble.

Are they 35th consortium quality? No way. But, are they a fantastic kick and absolutely desireable, without character graphics? Absolutely.

RE: Consortium - Force Pack
I reckon they're alright but they're nothing like as special as they should've or would've been.

I'm with Pure on this one, I do like my Yodas (packaging a good idea) but I did expect more from them, possibly not as aesthetically pleasing as my 35th Underworlds which I like a lot more.

jus' an opinion thou. Very HappyVery Happy

How does THE FORCE fit? And is there any chance of getting a pair of Yodas now?
