Do you have to do a certain number of posts or have a rep or something to have an avatar? because mine wont show Ive resized it and fiddled about and it still wont show, can anyone help?

Ive tried hosting it on photbucket, image shack etc, reducing the size of the file ect... im going mad!

It's not only the size of the file in memory, it's also the size of the image in dimensions.
Check the height and width in pixels.

thanks, but that was the 1st thing i tried, i changed the avatar to 150x150 pixels like it says, i dont know what to do now

click on the browse bit where the 'change avatar' option is, remember where you saved it and bingo!!!!

sorry i didnt mean i didnt know what to do once i've resized it, i know how to select an avatar and upload it. I mean ive exhausted every solution i could think of, and i am not out of ideas on how to get the avatr to show. I even gave up on the one i was 1st trying to use and was just trying to use a lil crappy one i didnt want, it still doesnt work
