I know Lorrie said this should be a test for newbies, so I'm bracing myself for the piss to be taken, but I can't get attachments to work...

Do the same thing I always do, write the text, then go to browse, highlight the image I wanna attach, and once the link appears in the box I click the button to attach it. It loads for a bit then refreshes the page, but with no attachment to the post. Been trying for the best part of a week now...

I've deleted some old ones to make space, and it ain't a big file. Any clues as to what the feck is going on?

Have you upgraded your browser lately ?

Using Firefox, it may have had an update recently yeah.

Caused all sorts of problems for me when it upgraded.
Delete all the SSDB cookies if you know your log in details and try it again, it should work fine then.

Gave it a go, cleared everything, still no joy. Weird.

Throw your computer out of the window and get another one.
If that doesn't fix it, I'm out of ideas.

have you clicked 'insert into post'?

Wasn't even getting that far mate, seems to be working now though, restarted my mac so maybe had to do that before Firefox would do as it's told.

it's just my personal feeling. i used mac few times, and i've got enough of it. maybe it's looking nice, but is completly weird when it comes to using it (you close window by using red (?) circle on LEFT side? what they were thinking?). maybe i just spent too much time on windows..

anyway, i'm glad the problem is solved.
