One time I saw a picture of a pair of all black Stan Smith 80's and I haven't seen them since. They had black sole and white trefoil and "stan smith" on heal and the portrait on tounge was white on black. Anyone know anything? Like when they were released, or even where I can get a hold of them? It's on top of my wish list right now.

You mean something like THESE but all black? These were released earlier this summer.

BUT.... i've not seen them in all black colourway with white details anywhere. Only a million other Smithie models, some fully black. Maybe the pic you saw, was of a sample pair which often differ from the commercially released versions by the colour combos. Or unless i've just been too blind while scavenging for more adidas.......

PS. How's the sizing of the Stan Smith 80s? I'd fancy some myself but have no idea how they size up compared to other Smithies, Superstars or Campus'.

Yeah they were just like that, but in shiny leather and black soles. I guess that someday Adidas will make a proper all black release like that. I also wish for a pair of all red ones like that

When it comes to sizes I have UK9 on all my Adidas; Campus 80's, Campus 2.5, Stan Smith 80's, Stan Smith Vintage, Superstar 80's, Superstar II, Match Play, Trimm trab, Samba and Gazelle. Works perfectly, but I can fit a pair of 9.5's also with some thicker socks I guess. Maybe the Stan Smith vintage feels a tiny little bit narrower, but I don't know. All my shoes feels great.

Yup, those 80s feature a nubuck leather upper while most of the other all black Stan Smiths feature shinier leather materials.

There are many all black Stan Smiths around already, but none of them are 80s. There's even an all black snake skin version. Some do have the white trefoil on the heel but none have both the trefoil and stan smith on there.

Hmm.. all red, huh? Never seen those but i've seen all blue ones.

Cheers for the sizing info.. didn't really help much tho as i know at least in my size UK10, especially sizing of the 80s seem to vary between the model series.

I just went for a pair of all black Stan Smith II for now. They were on sale so... But I'm still looking forward to a release of all black and/or all red Stan Smith 80's. Did you read that oh you lurking chief designer on Adidas??
