RE: Adidas Superstar History...
People have been posting in this thread every single year since 2006 so I'm just following a pattern here.

RE: Adidas Superstar History...
Though the name of the thread is Adidas superstar history there's very little talk about Adidas superstar history imho.
But what happened to that Dsevern guy and his dad the superstar creator? That could've been interesting. Favourite SSDB quote:

RE: Adidas Superstar History...
What was really the original meaning of the rubber shell toe? Was it to protect the toes from bouncing basket balls or what?

Damn that's a brutal advert. Effective but brutal. You couldn't air something like that here. It might scare the children. Better a dead kid than a traumatized one.
These kicks need their own theme music.

RE: Adidas Superstar History...
People of a certain age and born in the UK on here will remember many more, keep away from train tracks, chip pan fires, polished carpets, not to mix cross ply and radial tyres
I think they aren't shown anymore for that reason - "They'll scare children, there're too traumatic!" Which is entirely missing the point. fc wants them all back 'The model of ownership, in a society organised round mass consumption, is addiction.' - Christopher Lasch |
