RE: Adidas Superstar History...
Would be awesome if he did but regrettably I reckon it's unlikely.
Flying Cod's post comes first on Google if you search for "Chris Severn" and "Adidas".

Quote:Indeed, Chris Severn is still alive and well. He is my father and was the designer of the Superstar, Pro-model, and Stan Smith shoes. He was also the Executive Director of Adidas USA in the mid 70's.

Yea, this one time I went outside at around 2:30 ish in the morning, and believe it or not it was actually raining down diamonds!!!!111

RE: Adidas Superstar History...
I would be happy to do an intro. I will also talk to my dad who should already have a written history on the subject. Please give me some time to put this together as I work very long hours.

I'm confused as to the fact you only have 3 pairs of trainers?

RE: Adidas Superstar History...
I'm pretty sure he's genuine.
As I said in the previous post, he was probably just wiling away a few minutes looking for his old man on Google.
I know we had DICKHEAD in here recently but can't for the life of me imagine that someone would come in here and impersonate Chris Severn.
Unless they're from LA and buy shit BMXs to look at.

I just talked to my dad and he said that he can provide some history. In fact, he said that he is "interested in setting the record straight". I don't know if he can do it within the next 2 weeks because he is on his way to Hawaii, but I will keep you posted. Meanwhile, Chris Severn is working on his other creation known as the Hoop Rat. Check out http://www.hooprat.net.
