Come to Bristol to see Banksy.... (sorry I'll stop now) Very Happy Very Happy

Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in while you could miss it.

RE: a trip to the london
Yeah, I'd definitely skip the London tourist attractions and hit the Banksy exhibit in Bristol. Most of them are crap anyway. London is best when you hit an area and just hang out - see the high street, hit a pub, do some shopping and then move on. Or hit the Tate. Or just wander.

I stumbled upon a wicked Nara exhibition one day when I was just walking around - there were only 3 people in the whole gallery.

It's a fantastic city, but who really cares about a stupid clock or a big ferris wheel?

If God gives you lemons you should find a new God

If I'm in town on the day, I'll see you for a beer Sin.
No promises though as I've only been in London about 15 times since November.
Tate modern is well worth a visit though.

RE: a trip to the london
Stansted is quite a way outside Greater London. You can get a shuttle bus or a train.

RE: a trip to the london
Sin you flying on WizzAir? Thats what I took from Katowice to London Stansted back in December of 2004. I can't believe it was almost 5 years ago now. I miss all the traveling I got to do while I was in Europe. Sad

But anyways from what I remember there is a free shuttle that will take you from the airport to the rail, and you can buy a one way ticket on the rail into the city, where you can connect to wherever you need to go to on the Tube.

Me and Streak are going to a BBQ on the 16th so that might be our weekend passes blown.
Unless we have a quick couple before heading on.

no, wizzair wants to charge almost 1000 pln! compare it to ryanair - less than 200 pln... 5 times cheaper.

what are you doing now scuderia? do you have facebook?

i don't want to ruin anyone plans, so if we won't make the meeting, that's ok for me..

cheers

RE: a trip to the london
depends what ya wanna do or see while here.. camden is worth a check & south bank... i would dissagree with the avoid the touristy things, i did a day on the open top tourist bus a few years back, phuckin great way to spend a day if its hot (it was febuary and freezing when i did it but was still good).. people rarely spend time in their own city/country in the way that they do on holiday, they should do, gives you a different perspective on a place.
